India-UAE Trade — CEPA Benefits, Duties & Shipping Guide
The India-UAE CEPA has been in force since 1 May 2022. About 95% of the UAE's tariff lines are at 0% for goods from India now, 97% by 2031, counted from the Annex 2A schedule; labour-intensive sectors such as gems and jewellery, textiles, leather and footwear got zero duty from entry into force. Goods must meet the CEPA's rules of origin, and the buyer claims the rate with a certificate of origin.
