India and the EU concluded negotiations on a free trade agreement in January 2026. It still has to be signed and ratified, so it is not yet in force, and Indian goods pay the EU's MFN duty or the lower GSP rate where they qualify. India and the EU's 27 members traded goods worth $136.5 billion in 2024-25.
