ASEAN-India FTA (AIFTA) — Tariff Benefits for Indian Exporters
The ASEAN-India Free Trade Area (AIFTA, in force since 2010) links India with ten ASEAN countries. Each has its own tariff schedule, in which 50% to 84% of lines end at zero duty; India's own schedule ends at zero on about 74% of its lines. India and ASEAN traded goods worth US$128.4 billion in 2025-26, about 10.5% of India's goods trade.
