Updated 26 September 2026: the trade figures are now India's official statistics for 2025-26, from the Department of Commerce's Export Import Data Bank, and the EU duty rates come from the EU's TARIC tariff. Earlier versions gave product values and shares that matched no official year. The European Union is one of India's largest export markets. India's goods exports to the 27 EU countries rose from $41.4 billion in 2020-21 to a peak of $75.9 billion in 2023-24, and were $72.4 billion in 2025-26. The India-EU FTA, concluded in January 2026 but not yet in force, would remove most of the EU duties that still apply. This article examines the ten product groups India sells most to the EU, with their HS codes, current trade values, recent trends and what the FTA would change.
